5 Stylish Outfits on Instagram

Instagram is a great place for outfit inspiration, here are some of the looks that got my attention recently. The baggy jeans and boxy fit of the blazer gives this look a casual silhouette. High heels make this feel appropriate for brunch or a party. I love that the jeans are grey instead of black as it gives a little contrast but nothing too dramatic. What a gorgeous colour combination. Obsessed with the 2 different tones of purple and the sweater tied off one shoulder. The shoes are just seen and they perfectly match the brown trousers, making the shoe feel like a continuation of the legs. This sweater vest/tabbard and oversized white shirt looks so effortless and chic. Jeans help to dress the whole look down and the bag is complementary in colour but also adds a texture difference with the suede. The perfect winter layering look. An oversized turtleneck, smart trousers and a tailored coat is a failsafe look. Converse trainers and a baseball cap give this look an athleisurewear edge....

The best new-in pieces from Zara

So many excellent pieces at Zara right now, here are the best items from their new-in section. This shoulder bag is the perfect little day or night bag. This stretch knit midi dress can be layered up with knitwear for now and worn alone when spring hits. Most stripe jumpers are beige/white, I love this black one . The zip helps to create shape but it's also useful for cooling you down (not that anyone needs that in this weather). Obsessed, I need this dress in my wardrobe. Perfect with long boots and a tailored coat. This box pleat skirt still reminds me of school uniform, but I can't stop thinking about it with 20 denier tights, ankle boots and a grey jumper. This cropped jacket would be the perfect transitional piece for spring. I already own the low heel version of these suede cowboy boots and they are some of my most worn/loved shoes. This double-breasted shearling coat is a lovely deep brown colour,  the ideal cover-up for this frosty weather.

3 chic outfits to keep you warm

The weather has really taken a turn this week in London. Frosty mornings call for layers. Here are 3 chic outfits to keep you warm. An all-neutral look with warmth in mind. The dress makes it feel more feminine while the knee high boots provide crucial wind cover. This fur-lined motto jacket with the cardigan underneath and the brown cross body bag gives shape, interest and most importantly, layers. This outfit started with the black ribbed skirt , such a versatile wardrobe hero (and long enough to wear 3/4 length leggings underneath!). The shacket adds a masculine edge and the high-neck jumper adds warmth. The boots could easily be swapped out for trainers. The brown tote finishes this look. The suit trousers and pale blue shirt start off smart, but the white chunky trainers and beanie  hat help to balance out this look and make it work for most occasions. I love this tailored cream coat , but an oversized herringbone coat would work equally as well.
